Last but not least,
3rd-5th grade families, this year's testing window for MAP is April 24, 2019 and May 17, 2019 and below we have some first-hand advice from some Hawthorn 5th graders on how to help your student be most successful during this year's test.

Erin: It's pretty much a review of what you've already learned.
Avoid things at home that cause stress.
Don't rush, you have plenty of time to take the test.
If you get thirsty easily, bring a water bottle to class.
Camille: Don't stress.
Eat a good breakfast.
Get a good night's sleep.
Take breaks if you need it.
And Kara N recommends taking deep breaths to calm yourself if you feel stressed at any time during the test.

Thanks for the advice ladies, I know our students are going to Rock the Test!
